Rahul Gandhi being taken away by police NEW DELHI: High drama unfolded outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in Delhi on Tuesday as the Congress, led by Rahul Gandhi, arrived to stage a sit-in protest, catching security personnel off guard.The Congress leaders demanded the resignation of PM Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah, and education minister Dharmendra Pradhan.Rahul Gandhi also appealed to the public to join what was planned as an indefinite protest, following which leaders from other opposition parties joined the demonstration.Congress leaders tied plastic bands around their hands and raised slogans, protesting the government’s action. Rahul Gandhi, Jitendra Singh, Govind MohanSingh claimed that he informed Rahul Gandhi that the government had agreed to discuss the NEET paper leak issue in Parliament, following which the Congress MP “changed the goalpost” and demanded the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan.Eventually, Delhi Police detained Rahul Gandhi and other leaders participating in the protest.
