9 signs someone is emotionally safe to date, according to psychologists
Being in an emotionally safe relationship means having a partner who listens to you.
They don’t stop you or try to fix the situation right away, but rather listen to what’s going on. Such listening is called active and empathic listening, created by the famous psychologist Carl Rogers and known as accepting others. According to the study done by Frontiers in Psychology in 2021, empathic listening builds trust, relationship quality, and emotional intimacy.
