‘Golmaal 5’: Tusshar Kapoor on filming night shoots with Akshay Kumar, ‘Raat ke teen-chaar baje aadmi vibe ka, chemistry ka, camaraderie ka nahin sochta’
Tusshar Kapoor spoke about filming ‘Golmaal 5’ with Akshay Kumar, the franchise’s latest addition, sharing that almost the entire schedule with him was shot at night. In a recent interview, the actor recalled that the entire stretch of shooting alongside Akshay took place during night hours. He added that the scenes were hilarious, with several instances where he found it impossible to control his laughter on set.

Speaking to News18, Tusshar said the team was racing against time despite all the fun on set. He said, “We were wanting to get the work done because they were night shoots and they were very tiring. In the month of March, it was hot also. Fortunately it was night, because it wasn’t so humid in the night.” On the lighter moments during filming, Tusshar joked, “Raat ke teen-chaar baje aadmi vibe ka, chemistry ka, camaraderie ka nahin sochta! Sochta hai ki mera shot aa jaaye, main karke nikal jaaun.“

‘Golmaal 5’ sees Akshay joining Rohit Shetty’s long-running comedy franchise for the first time, alongside original cast members Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu and Tusshar Kapoor, as well as Sharman Joshi, who makes a comeback to the series after the 2006 original. Shooting for the film began in Ooty in April, with Tusshar completing his schedule in May following a 79-day shoot, marking the occasion with a wrap selfie captioned “Lekin picture abhi baaki hai.”
