Nagaland University invites CUET-UG 2026 applications for FYUGP B.Sc. Honours programmes across five science disciplines; applications close on July 15

Nagaland University has commenced the admission process for its Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) in Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) for the 2026–27 academic session through CUET-UG 2026. The online application window is open until July 15, 2026, for candidates seeking admission to Honours and Honours with Research programmes in five science disciplines.Admissions will be conducted by the University’s Multi-Disciplinary Research Centre (MDRC) under the framework of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The selection process will be based on candidates’ CUET-UG 2026 scores and Class XII examination performance, subject to the eligibility criteria prescribed by the respective academic departments. Applications can be submitted through the University’s admission portal at https://admission.nagalanduniversity.ac.in.Five science disciplines offered under FYUGPThe FYUGP offers B.Sc. Honours and Honours with Research programmes in Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology. According to the University, the curriculum follows the NEP 2020 framework, providing undergraduate students with opportunities for academic specialisation and research.Admissions will be granted strictly on merit. Candidates must satisfy the academic eligibility requirements specified by the concerned departments in addition to qualifying through CUET-UG 2026.Admission schedule and required documentsThe online application process began on July 1, 2026, and will conclude on July 15, 2026. The University will publish the list of shortlisted candidates on July 16, 2026. Admissions for selected candidates will take place from July 17 to July 20, 2026, while admissions from the waiting list are scheduled between July 21 and July 23, 2026.Applicants are required to upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature, Class X admit card and marksheet, Class XII admit card and marksheet, CUET-UG scorecard, transfer certificate and other applicable documents, including caste, disability, backward tribe or gap certificates, wherever relevant.Reservation policy and campus facilitiesSeat allocation will be carried out according to the University’s reservation policy covering Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Sports Quota, Employees’ Quota and Unreserved (UR) categories.The University stated that students admitted to the programme will have access to laboratories, digital library resources, Wi-Fi-enabled campus facilities, e-learning support, sports infrastructure, career counselling, placement assistance, cafeteria services and a health centre.For admission-related queries, candidates may contact the Multi-Disciplinary Research Centre through the details provided by the University.
