Maharashtra CET Cell records over 67,000 CAP registrations; LLB, BPEd and MPEd admissions continue
Maharashtra CAP 2026: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has announced that 67,652 students have completed registration for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for six higher education programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. The registration figures were released on June 29, 2026, as admissions continue for selected professional and teacher education courses.The ongoing CAP registration covers BPEd, MPEd, three-year LLB, five-year LLB, MEd and the three-year integrated BEd-MEd programme. The CET Cell has advised candidates who appeared for the 2026 CET examination to complete their online registration before the respective deadlines. Admission schedules for other courses will be announced separately.Registration deadlines for ongoing admissionsOnline registration for BPEd, MPEd and the three-year LLB began on June 11 and will remain open until June 30, 2026. Registration for MEd and the three-year integrated BEd-MEd programme commenced on June 16 and will continue until July 6, 2026. Candidates seeking admission to the five-year LLB programme have been able to register since June 19, with the application window closing on July 9, 2026.The CET Cell has instructed applicants to complete the registration process only through the official online portal within the prescribed timeline.Course-wise CAP registration statusAs of June 29, 2026, the highest number of registrations has been recorded for the three-year LLB programme, followed by the five-year LLB course.
Documents required for online registrationCandidates must upload a recent passport-sized colour photograph and a scanned image of their signature in JPG or JPEG format as specified by the CET Cell. They are also required to upload scanned copies of all educational and supporting documents in PDF format according to the prescribed file size.The CET Cell has published the detailed list of required documents on its official website. Candidates have been advised to ensure that all uploaded documents meet the specified format before submitting their applications.The authority has also asked applicants to visit the official CET Cell website regularly for updated admission notifications and information related to the Centralised Admission Process for the remaining courses.
