From 101 kg to 76 kg in 24 weeks: This fitness coach shares the 3 habits behind his 25 kg transformation

Losing 25 kg in 24 weeks is the kind of transformation that naturally gets people talking. But when South Asian health and fitness expert Zee Ali shared his journey on Instagram, it was the simplicity of his approach that stood out. At 46, he said he changed his lifestyle without turning to crash diets or extreme measures. Instead, he followed a routine that he believes made the process easier to stick with over time.“That’s it. No extreme diet. No starving myself. Just a simple routine repeated every day. I went from 101 kg to 76 kg in 24 weeks, fitter, leaner, stronger, and happier at 46 years old,” he wrote in the caption of the video.

The first rule was to eat more protein

According to Zee, cutting calories did not mean cutting protein. He said he kept his daily protein intake between 180 and 200 grams throughout his weight-loss journey.“Even though I was eating much less food overall, I kept my protein intake at 180–200 grams a day. It helped preserve my muscles, reduced my cravings, kept my metabolism high, and helped burn belly fat faster,” he wrote.

Planning ahead helped him stay consistent

Rather than deciding everything at the last minute, Zee said he planned his day in advance. His meals, gym sessions, walks, and sleep schedule were all part of a fixed routine.“A routine keeps you in charge. When you plan your sleep, gym sessions, and walks beforehand, life can’t get in the way. No plan means no control. Pen and paper wins,” he added.

Sleep and hydration were part of the routine too

For Zee, the routine did not end with food and exercise. He also made sleep and hydration a daily priority. According to him, he slept by 10:30 pm every night and drank around 3 to 4 liters of water every day.“Sleep and water are secret weapons. I went to bed by 10:30 pm every night and drank 3-4 liters of water daily. More sleep means more energy, and more water means less hunger. Simple,” Zee remarked.Disclaimer: This report is based on a social media post. The Times of India has not independently verified the claims.Thumb image: Instagram
