I pray to Almighty God for the prosperity and continued success of the Government and the great people of India.”The message comes as India prepares to send an official delegation to the funeral ceremonies of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. According to Iranian sources cited by ANI, Bihar Governor Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain and Union Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita will represent the Indian government at the ceremonies.Iran had also invited Prime Minister Modi to attend the state funeral and burial ceremonies. The week-long observances are scheduled from July 4 to July 9 across several Iranian cities and are expected to draw millions of mourners along with foreign dignitaries.Iranian authorities said Khamenei’s body will lie in state at Tehran’s Grand Mosalla complex on July 4 and 5, allowing members of the public to pay their respects.
