According to TMZ and photos shared online by fans, Grande and Alvarez were seen dining together at a restaurant on June 25 while the singer was in Austin for her Eternal Sunshine tour.

Grande was also reportedly accompanied by director Christian Breslauer during her time in Texas. On her day off, she was photographed chatting with friends before later stopping by De Nada Cantina, where she also obliged fans with selfies.

However, sources familiar with the situation told the outlet that there is “nothing romantic” between the former flames and that Alvarez is simply one of several friends celebrating Grande’s birthday in the city. The singer turned 33 on June 26.

Interestingly, this spotting came days after Grande surprised fans by changing the lyrics to her hit song ‘Thank U, Next’ during a live performance. Instead of singing the original line, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh,” she changed it to, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now they still kinda slap,” prompting speculation that she may have rekindled her decade-old romance.Grande and Alvarez dated while he was a part of her backup dance crew on the 2015 Honeymoon Tour.
