Arjun Sarja’s action entertainer ‘Blast’ continued its theatrical run with a solid jump in collections on its third Sunday.According to Sacnilk, ‘Blast’ collected Rs 2.65 crore net in India on Day 18. The latest figure represents a 17.3 percent increase compared to the previous day’s earnings of Rs 2.26 crore.
India collections cross Rs 46 crore
‘Blast’ has accumulated Rs 46.65 crore net in India. The film’s India gross collection currently stands at Rs 53.64 crore.The action drama recorded its latest collections from 2,038 shows across the country. ‘Blast’ had completed its first week with a collection of Rs 25.78 crore.Overseas territories have contributed Rs 14.05 crore gross during the course of its run. ‘Blast’ has now reached a worldwide gross total of Rs 67.69 crore. The Tamil version remained the clear leader on Day 18. It generated Rs 2.45 crore net. The Telugu version added Rs 20 lakh net to the tally. Together, the two versions helped push the overall India net collection to Rs 46.65 crore.The Tamil version recorded an overall occupancy of 29.25 percent on Sunday. State-wise collections showed Tamil Nadu leading with Rs 1.95 crore gross. Kerala followed with Rs 70 lakh gross.
