Journalists sell stories. Stories from the horse’s mouth itself. Or stories from sources. In AJ Brown’s case, Dianna Russini sold a story that had Brown traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to the New England Patriots. This story was reportedly sold by AJ Brown himself. He recently admitted to “leaking it to the media.”

AJ Brown reportedly sold his Patriots trade story in order to make it happen in Philadelphia

“Did you feel the picture was making you a villain in some sort of way?” asked Maria Taylor, a prominent American sports television host and NBC Sports reporter. “I wouldn’t say a villain because some of the things that were done, it was done purposely to give us a push,” AJ Brown said.“I know if I say something in the media, I know it’s going to propel us to work on it. If you say what you need to say in the media, which I won’t do anymore, it gives everything legs to push and push everybody to be better.Because pressure isn’t always a bad thing. It can also be a good thing, too. We had guys in the locker room who honestly felt like it was okay to do because we had guys in the locker room who were like, ‘Yeah, I know I need to do this. I need to do that, including myself.’ So, some of the things you would say in the media were a strategy in hopes of helping your team become the best version of themselves. Nothing I ever said was for personal gain. It was always to help this team win and try to be our better selves.”

Why would AJ Brown reportedly defend Dianna Russini amid Mike Vrabel Sedona story?

AJ Brown is entering the New England Patriots now. Where he could be subjected to Dianna Russini connection related to his trade rumors. She was the first one to start the whole ‘YPhiladelphia Eagles trading their wide receiver AJ Brown to the New England Patriots’ story. He could have been the source of her story. Now he is reportedly defending her because she no longer works for The Athletic. He could be defending her because of Crissy Froyd’s shocking claims about several other female reporters and NFL coaches. He could be defending her because her Mike Vrabel connection is dying…fading like a wisp of smoke from an extinguished candle. The story has no substance anymore. There are no more declarations/pictures/shocking stories to prove that Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel were involved in an alleged affair while being an NFL reporter and an NFL coach. So, AJ Brown is probably clearing the air for Dianna Russini amid her alleged Sedona cheating scandal with New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.
