Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda tied the knot during a grand yet intimate ceremony in Udaipur among close family and friends on February 26. Since their wedding, fans have been talking about every small detail from the wedding, including the rituals, outfits and jewelry choices made by the star couple.Interestingly, Rashmika Mandanna designed her own mangalsutra. Priya Maganti, who designed Rashmika’s look recently spoke about it during an interaction with Moneycontrol. She said, “Rashmika designed her mangalsutra and that clearly tells that she has her own unique taste.”

The couple did not follow trends

Priya also shared that both Rashmika and Vijay were very clear from the beginning that they did not want their wedding to look like every other celebrity wedding. They wanted every choice to feel personal and close to their hearts.She said, “They didn’t want it to follow the trends. Even in clothes, even in jewelry, they just did their unique or their self-decisions.” The couple reportedly focused only on what made them happy instead of choosing things that were already popular online.

Rashmika Mandanna chose which saree

Rashmika Mandanna’s bridal saree also became a major talking point on social media after wedding photos surfaced online. While many celebrity brides usually wear red, ivory or pastel shades, the ‘Ranabali’ actress wanted to wear orange.Priya revealed that many designers suggested different colors to the actress because orange is considered an uncommon bridal shade. She said, “Rashmika was very particular about doing orange. This designer is saying red; this designer is saying wear ivory because those are the bright colors and orange is very unconventional.”

Priya asked her to trust her instinct

Priya said she encouraged Rashmika to stay confident about her decision and not change it because of outside opinions.“I told her to stick to your instinct; if you want to wear orange, you have to wear orange. Don’t wear red or white because a designer told you to do so,” she shared.Rashmika and Vijay got married following Telugu and Kodava traditions.
