American billionaire Mark Cuban deletes 'cursing' post after attending White House event with Trump; says: I’m going to put ...

Mark Cuban has deleted his post defending his appearance at a White House event to announce the expansion of the TrumpRx platform. The former Shark Tank judge and outspoken Kamala Harris supporter appeared beside President Donald Trump during the rollout of TrumpRx.gov – an initiative aimed at lowering the cost of 600 generic prescription drugs. The program partners the Trump administration with major private-sector companies, including Amazon, GoodRx and Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs — officially making Trump and Cuban business partners. The appearance sparked criticism on social media, targeting Cuban who has previously endorsed Kamala Harris. Defending the partnership, Cuban wrote in a post: “If anyone thinks I’m going to put politics ahead of helping Americans reduce their cost of healthcare and pharmaceuticals, they are f***ing idiot”. The billionaire later deleted the post. He said:“Deleted the last post because I decided cursing didn’t make my point. It hurt it. And I rarely care about cursing.”

Mark Cuban thanks Trump

During the event, Mark Cuban thanked Donald Trump saying: “Thank you for having me, Mr President. I think other than you, I’ve been the biggest proponent of TrumpRx.” “Democrats want cheaper medications, too. When all is said and done, the goal is the goal. How do we make medications and healthcare cheaper? That’s all I care about,” Cuban said. When pressed again about Trump by reporters, Cuban said “The way I always look at politics and any politician is, the only thing I care about is can they reduce the stress of the American people?”.“This, TrumpRx and Cost Plus Drugs working together, is one step toward reducing your stress. To me, that’s the ultimate goal,” he added.

Trump takes a jab at Mark Cuban

When a reporter pointed out how “remarkable” it was to see the two sharing a platform, Trump took a jab at the billionaire. “Well, he made a mistake. It was a big mistake,” Trump said, drawing laughter from the crowd — even from Cuban himself.
