The Punjab School Education Board has declared the PSEB Class 10 Result 2026 on the official website, pseb.ac.in. The pass percentage stands at 94.52%. Candidates who appeared for the Punjab Board matric examinations can now access and download their scorecards from the official website, pseb.ac.in.The Punjab Board conducted the Class 10 examinations between March 6 and April 1, 2026, across multiple examination centres in the state. The examination cycle began with the Social Science paper and concluded with the Health and Physical Education examination.
Punjab Class 10th result 2026: Statistics
The PSEB recorded an overall pass percentage of 94.52 per cent in the PSEB Class 10 examinations 2026. Out of 2,69,505 students who appeared for the matric examinations this year, a total of 2,54,744 candidates successfully cleared the exams. Girls once again outperformed boys in the Punjab Board Class 10 results. The pass percentage among girls stood at an impressive 95.96 per cent, with 1,22,595 students qualifying out of 1,27,753 candidates who appeared. Meanwhile, boys registered a pass percentage of 93.23 per cent, with 1,32,143 candidates clearing the examination out of 1,41,746 students. The board also recorded a 100 per cent pass percentage among transgender candidates, with all six students successfully clearing the examination. Rural students continued to outperform their urban counterparts this year as well. The pass percentage in rural areas stood at 95.35 per cent, while urban areas recorded a pass percentage of 92.98 per cent. Among institutions, non-government schools delivered the highest performance with a pass percentage of 95.97 per cent. Government schools recorded a pass percentage of 94.45 per cent, while aided schools registered 89.68 per cent. Compared to the previous academic session, the overall pass percentage witnessed a slight decline. In 2025, the Punjab Board had recorded a pass percentage of 95.61 per cent, with 2,65,548 students passing out of 2,77,746 candidates. This year, the success rate dipped to 94.52 per cent. According to the result data released by the board, 13,126 students have been placed in the re-appear category, accounting for 4.87 per cent of the total candidates. Meanwhile, 1,593 students failed the examination, while the results of 42 candidates have been withheld.

- View and download the provisional marksheet
Alternatively, candidates can click on the direct link provided here to download the PSEB Class 10th result 2026.Students are advised to keep a printed copy of the online marksheet for admission and documentation purposes.Apart from the official website, digital marksheets are also expected to be available through DigiLocker. Students facing website slowdowns due to heavy traffic can use the platform to access digitally verified copies of their results.The DigiLocker marksheet is treated as a valid provisional document for admission processes until schools distribute original certificates.
What is the passing percentage?
According to the Punjab Board’s evaluation criteria, students must secure at least 33 per cent marks in aggregate as well as individually in each subject to pass the examination. Candidates are also required to separately clear theory and practical/internal assessment components.Students unable to clear one or more subjects are expected to receive another opportunity through compartment examinations, details of which are likely to be announced shortly.
Re-evaluation and rechecking window to open soon
The Punjab Board is also expected to begin the re-evaluation and rechecking process in the coming days. Students dissatisfied with their scores will be able to apply online for answer sheet scrutiny after the official notification is released.While rechecking includes verification of totaling errors and unchecked answers, re-evaluation involves a fresh assessment of answer sheets.
Original marksheets to be distributed through schools
The online result released today is provisional in nature. Original physical marksheets are expected to be dispatched to schools within the next few working days. Students will need to collect them from their respective schools for future academic admissions and verification purposes.
