NEW DELHI: A Border Security Force (BSF) officer was killed after a fire broke out at a fuel depot in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district, officials said.The incident occurred at the Bankra border outpost (BOP) in Hingalganj along the India-Bangladesh border. The outpost is part of the 77th Battalion of the BSF.Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Jagi Ram was trapped inside the fuel dump after a blast triggered a massive fire, leading to his death.
