Tina Fey, Jack White, and Melissa McCarthy welcome Jack Black to the ‘five-timers club’ on ‘Saturday Night Live’
Over the years, Jack Black has appeared in a lot of TV reality shows; however, his latest appearance on ‘Saturday Night Live’ is nothing short of iconic. The ‘Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ was recently selected to host the show again, making record history. During their latest episode, the ‘SNL’ cast held a special segment to welcome Black to the ‘five-timers club’.
Jack Black joins the ‘five-timers club’ on ‘Saturday Night Live’
Appearing on the latest episode of ‘SNL’, Jack Black was honoured as one of the latest joiners of the show’s ‘five-timer club’, meant for celebrity guests who have featured on the hit reality show multiple times. As for the segment, other famed celebrities who have also been hosts on the show multiple times present the new joinee with a jacket. One by one, other celebrities who have also hosted the show more than 5 times came on screen for the segment, starting with Jonah Hill. As he brought Jack Black to a club area overrun with cobwebs and dust, Tina Fey appeared out of nowhere and commented about how the idea of the ‘five timers club’ has been run down into the ground and had seen “better days.”Later on, Candice Bergen, Mellisa McCarthy, and Jack White also joined in to welcome the ‘Anaconda’ actor to the club. Jack White and Jack Black even performed a musical monologue to end the segment.The famed actor previously hosted ‘SNL’ in 2002, 2003, and 2005. His fourth time came in 2025, almost 20 years after his last appearance. He hosted the show in relation to the promotion of his film ‘Minecraft.’ His 2026 appearance marked his 5th time hosting the show. Before Black, ‘Only Murders In The Building’ star Martin Short was the latest celebrity to join the ‘five timers club.’ Other celebrities who were not present for the segment but have also been inducted into the club included Kristen Wiig, Emma Stone, and Woody Harrelson to name a few.
