NEW DELHI: Delhi government’s annual Budget for 2026-27 will focus on industrial growth, investment and job creation, chief minister Rekha Gupta said on Wednesday.Interacting with industrialists, Gupta said that her government is preparing an industry-friendly Budget and sought their suggestions on it.Entrepreneurs from various industrial sectors attended the meeting and shared their demands, suggestions, and expectations, said a Delhi CMO statement.”The government is working towards a Budget that accelerates industrial growth, attracts investment, and creates large-scale job opportunities. Industry representatives called for smoother supply chains, stronger logistics infrastructure, and policy support to enhance production capacity.They recommended power subsidies for industries, implementation of a single-window clearance system, reforms in FAR policy, and promotion of the recycling industry to ease operations and reduce costs.Representatives from unplanned industrial areas also highlighted their concerns.
