Such brazen violence suggests that the perpetrators are confident of getting away, either because of political patronage or the complicity and apathy of the state machinery,” he added.BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi said, “The manner in which women were assaulted in West Bengal under the Mamata Banerjee government has caused concern across the country.
