NEW DELHI: Mahagathbandhan chief ministerial face Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday said that his government will transfer Rs 30,000 to women if they are voted to power in the upcoming assembly elections.”After we form the Government, on Makar Sankranti – 14th January, we will deposit Rs 30,000 for an entire year into the accounts of women under ‘Mai Bahin Maan Yojana’..” Tejashwi said while addressing a press conference on the last day of campaigning for the first phase of the elections.‘Bihar Got Not Even 1% of Gujarat’s Share’: Tejashwi Yadav Explodes at PM Modi”We spoke to women about the ‘Mai Bahin Maan Yojana’, and they are very excited about it,” he added.With Mai Bahin Yojana, Tejashwi joins a growing list of similar welfare schemes launched by govts ahead of assembly elections.
