Elizabeth Olsen says she knows ‘nothing’ about ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ as she teases Scarlet Witch
The highly anticipated ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ will release on December 18, 2026. As the excitement builds, fans are equally curious about their favorite characters returning for the storyline. Now, Elizabeth Olsen is remaining coy about her role as Scarlet Witch. The ‘Eternity’ star did not share what storylines she had pitched to Marvel; however, she revealed some things she’d like to do.
Elizabeth Olsen says she knows nothing about ‘Avengers: Doomsday’
The WandaVision star made an appearance at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, where she was asked about her future in the MCU and said she didn’t know much. “I know nothing,” Olsen said when asked about what she knew about Doomsday. “I know about VisionQuest because I’ve seen Paul [Bettany] in the last six months, and I know nothing about any of it.”When asked about Secret Wars, Olsen said, “Is that what happens after this day? I’m not kidding.”
Elizabeth Olsen is keeping it secret
Maintaining the secrecy code, Olsen maintained she was “not kidding,” later adding, “I don’t know what’s going on. It’s safer for me not to know anything because then I can’t make a mistake in a situation like this. I rather know nothing.”
Elizabeth Olsen says she has offered things she’d like to do
Although she didn’t confirm her involvement in upcoming MCU projects, Elizabeth Olsen shared that whenever she knows she’ll be part of a storyline, she suggests ideas she’d like to explore. However, she also noted that it’s been a while since she’s had those kinds of discussions.“My whole thing is if I can serve a story and help, and we can use this character to make that story better instead of just being thrown in there just for a secret, then I would be so excited to do that,” she said. “I just want to be of service to telling these stories better each time.”
