– DEHRADUN: Ahead of the Tehri Lake Festival, Tehri Garhwal district magistrate Nitika Khandelwal inspected Koti Colony on Wednesday and reviewed preparations for the event, issuing directions to officials regarding land use and arrangements.She later held a meeting with public representatives and officials to discuss festival plans.Chief development officer Varuna Agarwal said competitions to be organised during the festival include Master Chef Tehri, photography, rap, painting and a fashion show featuring traditional hill attire (Mr & Miss Tehri). Rafting and a kite show will also be held, along with activities such as trekking, paragliding, water sports, mountain biking and a food festival.Officials said the top three winners in the competitions will receive prize money of Rs 1 lakh, Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000, respectively.
