Image: IANS NEW DELHI: In a move aimed at preventing annual scramble and confusion during postgraduate medical admissions, NMC has revised the NEET-PG 2025 counselling schedule, directing states to strictly align their timelines with the All India Quota (AIQ) process.The revised schedule, issued through a public notice by Post-Graduate Medical Education Board on Dec 19, was circulated to all medical colleges and state counselling authorities on Dec 22. The updated calendar has been finalised in consultation with Medical Counselling Committee, Directorate General of Health Services.NMC officials said the reshuffle is intended to end long-standing clashes between AIQ and state quota counselling, which in previous years led to overlapping rounds, blocked seats and prolonged admission cycles.
